We are all excited today. We have tickets to tour the Book of Kels exhibit at Trinity College. Off we go after a hearty breakfast on foot downtown to the college. It did not disappoint us – the Trinity College campus is gorgeous and the exhibit was amazing. Such history and beauty!

After our tour of this exhibit we met up with Cody who took us on our own personal Tour of the campus. Then we all went for lunch at a hot/cold buffet which was delish! Cody then offered to walk with us to begin our walk of the Temple Bar District which was fun! Cody headed off then to do his groceries and errands and we finished off the afternoon walking and sightseeing!

We cooked dinner and I think it is the general consensus to stay I;tonight! It is rainy and our legs are weary! One more day in Dublin tomorrow! We can’t believe the time has passed by so quickly!!

Lloyd and I are not “world travellers” but we are about to embark on an adventurous trip to Ireland with our good friends, Eldon and Kathy (who, by the way) are world travellers. We have been planning the details of this trip for over one year and it is now right around the corner. Trying to keep our packing to a minimum as we are lugging our stuff around on public transportation- a challenge for me - minimal packing I mean!! Second challenge - getting on that plane - as many of you know - I don’t love flying but fortunately Lloyd lets me dig my fingers into his arm as long as I need to! This is a fairly long flight - he may regret his generosity!! So.... we are off around the Isle on September 9th for 16 days!! I hope you all enjoy following our travels with us. It is my hope to post each day with a picture or two added. Take a trip with us!!!
